Sweet little Pierre is still waiting for his forever home. He's such a nice boy with such nice manners. It's hard to believe nobody's snapped him up.

This is Peter. He has had one owner since he was 5 months old and is now 10. His owner has recently had a lot of health issues and has been in and out of the hospital and needs to find a new home for Peter. Here's how she describes Peter:

Very well-behaved, crate trained, housebroken, knows "sit", "stay", "lie down", "roll over" and "up". Knows "eat", "no", "leave it", "food", "outside", "go for a ride" and probably a few others. He is very good on a leash and loves walks. He tilts his head and listens when you talk. He is in good health with a couple of lumps that the vet said are normal and nothing to worry about. Loves to cuddle, lick and be groomed (he's a tad touch about his feet). He's not used to other dogs but loves people of all ages and sizes. Not sure about cats. He likes quiet settings. If there are too many people or too much noise, he will hide although he hates to be alone. He loves to play "get the bone", where he sits between you and his chew bone and growls and barks. The closer you get to the bone, the more he growls and barks, never bites. If you don't participate, he will whine and sit there until you do. A game he invented long ago. Sometimes he will pretend to ignore you and only look at you when you look away.

We do NOT have this dog. This is a courtesy listing. If you are interested in Peter, please fill out an application and we will put you in touch with his owner.

We really need some foster homes. We are very limited in the number of poodles we can take in as we have no foster homes right now and have to rely on a club member with a boarding kennel to keep them for us. It's extremely generous of her to do this but, of course, a kennel is not the ideal situation and makes it more difficult to assess the dogs and see how they behave in a home situation. If you think you'd be able to volunteer as a foster parent, please contact us.
